JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Account Manager to oversee a portfolio of client accounts within our agency. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, project management, and strategic thinking skills, with a proven track record of successfully managing client relationships and delivering exceptional PR results. As an Account Manager, you will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, working closely with internal teams to develop and implement PR strategies that elevate brand visibility, drive engagement, and support business objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Client Relationship Management: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring seamless communication, addressing inquiries, and building strong, long-term relationships.
Strategic Planning & Execution: Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop and execute comprehensive public relations strategies tailored to each client's goals, audience, and industry.
Media Relations: Manage media outreach, develop press materials (press releases, media advisories, etc.), pitch story ideas to top-tier media outlets, and build relationships with journalists and influencers.
Content Creation & Management: Oversee the creation of engaging content, including press releases, media kits, and blog posts, ensuring alignment with client brand voice and messaging.
Campaign Management: Lead the execution of client PR campaigns, from ideation to delivery, ensuring all objectives are met within deadlines and budgets.
Reporting & Analysis: Monitor and analyze media coverage, track PR campaign performance, and provide clients with detailed reports and insights on campaign effectiveness.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with account executives, creative teams, and senior management to ensure consistent messaging and alignment across all deliverables.
Client Presentations: Prepare and present strategic recommendations, reports, and proposals to clients, ensuring alignment with their overall business goals.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in public relations or communications, preferably within an agency setting.
Proven track record of managing client accounts and executing successful PR campaigns.
Strong understanding of media relations, influencer marketing, and content creation.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling stories and press materials.
Ability to think strategically and creatively, with a results-oriented mindset.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in PR tools, social media platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
