Position: Graphic Designer

Reports to: Hannah Munce, Founder and Creative Director

Schedule: M-F, standard business hours

JOB SUMMARY:

HM Studio is a holistic creative and communications agency specializing in sustainable, design-minded lifestyle and hospitality brands. We live at the intersection of art and ecommerce working with our clients to create thoughtful narratives, realized through creative direction and design, strategic partnerships, and media/influencer relations. HM Studio has established itself as a leader in the lifestyle space, integrating this strength with a proven ability to provide strategic counsel and marketing campaigns for its clients. We are currently looking for a Graphic Designer to join our team.   

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES + QUALIFICATIONS:

• Maintaining clear day-to-day communication with clients and relevant brand partners

• Developing visual concepts, layouts, and designs for various applications, including websites, print materials, and marketing campaigns.

• Creating graphics, images, videos, and other visual assets using design software

• Ability to use other relevant software for specific projects, such as motion graphics software or web design tools.

• Understanding and applying design principles, such as typography, color theory, and composition 

• Meeting project deadlines and managing time effectively

• Ensuring designs meet quality standards and are optimized for various media

• Design social media assets for client related product launches and editorial features 

QUALIFICATIONS

• Looking for detail oriented and organized individuals with 2-3 years of agency design related experience

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and can prioritize workload effectively and demonstrate the ability to meet challenging deadlines

• Proficient ​in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva, Figma, Video 

• Adept with social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, etc.) 

• Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently

• Goal-oriented, organized team player

• Self-motivated and self-directed

• Excellent interpersonal relationship skills

• BA/BS degree in Graphic Design or relevant field
